This Slam will feature the excellent Maja Hanna – Poet, Facilitator and Theatre Maker

Maja is here to excavate her own experiences and express them out as jazz. Rail against the BS conditioning that says 'consume, don't care'. Play the dancing fool by the roadside who Loved All The Way.

In the sweet hope that these expressions will beget more tenderness and togetherness.
If even for a moment.

She is a storyteller who knows if we approach ourselves and each other with curiosity and deep listening, transformation is inevitable. She has a decade-plus background in theatre and has worked nationally and internationally as an actor for festivals and companies including Zen Zen Zo, Imaginary Theatre, Woodford, Shakespeare Unplugged (Brisbane), Black Swan State Theatre Company, PVI Collective, Perth International Arts Festival, Upstart, Class Act, Emergence Co (Perth), SITI Company (NY) and Punchdrunk (UK).

The last eight years she has also offered herself up as a director, storyteller, poet, improvisation teacher and expression guide.

Her creations are crafted with care, sincerity and soul. With a hefty sprinkling of Random Things That Come Up in the Moment.
